EBay posts higher quarterly profits because of higher e-commerce
Although the strength of the consumer economy is still uncertain, ebay posts higher profits for the most recent quarter. E-commerce has allowed the consumer to get cheaper prices on goods they want through ebay's second-price style auction business model.
E-commerce is becoming more popular and I think it will dominate the way companies sell products. Because of E-commerce, Ebay has posted higher profits and businesses such as PayPal are expanding more than ever.
ReplyDeleteE-commerce sites seem to be doing well at the expense of retail stores. More people are shopping online and this puts stores like Best Buy out of business.
